Right after I added newborn sessions to my list of offerings at the beginning of 2026, I was invited to photograph this lovely family in their San Francisco home. While I had experience taking photos of my own two kids, photographing other people's infants in homes other than my own was a bit of a learning curve. But now, after having shot many, newborn (or infant, in this case) photos are some of my favorites to do.
