I love it when you get lovely light that just feels magical but that is totally unexpected. As we walked out to the backyard at this families home, I spotted some light reflecting back onto the family from a nearby building. What resulted was lovely light hitting their faces and lighting them up as the sun was going down behind them. These kinds of unexpected pleasant situations are one of my favorite things about photographing at families homes.


After we took photos outside, we moved into their lovely home and continued there. Finding light by the windows is key, and thankfully they had a lovely home with ample windows.


I really enjoyed spending time with this trio and hope you like the photos.
